Chapter10  Tears streaming down face with no relatives around

When Lu Yuexia was discharged from the hospital and returned to college, the teachers and classmates stood at the college gate waiting. 陆月霞是死里逃生 ，常言到“ 大难不死必有大贵 ”，陆月霞 向往着美好的未来 。

但 是 ，母 亲 的 去 世 ，近 日 想 起 ，悲 哀 已 像 一 块 冰 冷 的 铁 ，还 深深地压在心头 。 因此 ，能够沉重和冷静地想想她的命运 。

陆月霞的母亲是一个最普通的村妇 ，命运之神对她似乎也 不公平 ，早年丧夫 。后来与大六岁的农民的儿子再次结婚 ，婚后生下了陆月霞 。 在陆月霞未成年的时候 ，陆月霞父亲便又离开了人世，留下了陆月霞 。

母亲赋予陆月霞生命 ，但这个生命是在穷困的家庭中长大  起来的 。 它像一株野生植物 ，营养不足使它畸形地发展 ，它没  有 色 和 香 与 周 围 的 百 卉 争 艳 ，它 只 长 出 刺 来 保 护 自 己 。 往 往 在  它自身和它所植根的土地受到侵犯的时候 ，它的刺就紧张起  来 。 因此 ，陆月霞在十三四岁的时候就形成了一种乖僻的性  格 。 母亲只是用茫然的眼光看陆月霞 。 母亲看陆月霞总是在  读书 ，正正经经地用着功 ，以为陆月霞一定有道理 ，而这些道  理是母亲所不能懂的 。 所以在大大小小的事情上 ，母亲对陆月  霞绝不表示意见 ，只是整个母亲的心 ，不得要领地探测着 ，无  能为力地保护着陆月霞 。 在母亲看来 ，她这亲生亲养的女儿 ， 她用了整个的心爱了一生的女儿 ，到底落了个不团圆，这是多  么伤心的事啊 ！ 然而 ，母亲临终也不忍责备女儿一句 。 也许 ，也许 由 于 母 爱 的 盲 目 性 使 她 真 的 相 信 女 儿 没 有 什 么 过 错 吧 。但母亲对女儿究竟是莫名其妙的 ，因之可以想象母亲内心的矛  盾该是多么深刻 ，这是最痛苦 ，最痛苦的 ！

陆月霞母亲的一生 ，就是这样茹苦含辛 ！

可是陆月霞这年过年没有回家是有理由可以解释的 ：身患 “ 非典 ”的人 ，在患病期间是受控制的 。 但是 ，母亲已经去世了，这 理 由 没 有 机 会 讲 了 ，就 是 讲 也 讲 不 清 楚 的 ，母 亲 会 相 信但 不 会 理 解 。母 亲 是 一 个 最 普 通 的 村 妇 ！

现在 ，陆月霞的身心只能全部用在学习上 ，陆月霞要用优

异 的 成 绩 回 报 母 亲 的 厚 爱 ！ 在 这 里 ，陆 月 霞 心 中 暗 自 祷 告 ：母 亲 ，女儿一定不负您老人家的期望 ，待我学业完成后就与我心 爱的夏先生结婚 ，您安息吧 ！

就在陆月霞刚返校上课的第五个星期 ，正值“ 五一 ”长假 ， 陆月霞的哥嫂外出旅游在回来的路上双双遇难身亡 。 当场有  17 人 葬 生 此 地 ，在 这 次 特 大 交 通 事 故 中 尚 有 五 对 新 婚 夫 妇 不 幸  陷入车祸而离开了这个美丽的世界 。

多么惨痛的车祸啊 ！ 一时间 ，震憾着整个山城 ，几十个家 庭 顿 时 沉 浸 在 悲 痛 之 中 … …

交通局 、公安局 、保险公司 、政府官员相继出动 ，他们以高 度的责任感和同情心投入到这场交通事故的处理过程中 。

哥嫂的后事得到了妥善的安置 ，他们的棺材运回了老家 ， 安葬在距母亲不远的小山坡上 。

灾难一个又一个地向陆月霞袭来 ，压得陆月霞喘不过气 ， 晚上睡觉常在恶梦中惊醒 。 陆月霞无力挣扎，但有一点陆月霞  是清醒的 ，不管外界对陆月霞有多大压力都阻碍不了陆月霞读  书这条通行之路。

于是 ，陆月霞强忍着一次又一次突如其来的横祸带来的心 灵 创 伤 ，仍 然 坚 持 上 课 和 写 作 业 。 每 晚 夜 深 人 静 的 时 候 ，把 自 己 当 天 的 所 获 、所 感 以 及 所 悟 记 录 下 来 ，作 为 自 己 在 读 书 期 间的历史见证 。

这年暑假 ，陆月霞没有回家 。 因为家中没有一个亲人了 ， 只有三间破烂的土木结构青瓦房 。 这已经不是陆月霞的家了 ， 这三间瓦房在处理哥嫂的丧事中已经作了处理了 。

陆月霞没有家了 ，陆月霞成了一个流浪者 。

这个暑假 ，陆月霞就住在学校 。
